  • Traffic Congestion: Despite one-way systems, congestion persists due to poor rule-following.
    • Two-wheeler riders often avoid helmets.
    • Car drivers are skipping seat belts.
  • Notices for Violators:
    • Traffic fines will be sent to violators’ homes.
    • Fines can be paid conveniently at Belagavi One Centers.

🧱 Barricades for Better Traffic Flow

  • 460 barricades installed across the city.
  • All equipped with reflectors for nighttime visibility.

🚏 Bus & Truck Traffic

  • Belagavi Central Bus Stand:
    • Over 2,600 buses operate daily.
    • Steps taken to streamline bus movement and reduce congestion.
  • Truck Entry:
    • 4,000 trucks enter/exit the city daily.
    • Entry banned during peak hours – to be enforced strictly.
    • New parking spaces for trucks are to be coordinated with the respective authorities.

  • Severe shortage of police personnel in Belagavi Commissionerate.
