Dasara Vacation Announced for Educational Institutions in Karnataka, Students to Get Break from September 20 to October 7.

The State Education Department has announced that all government and private schools in Karnataka will observe Dasara holidays from September 20 to October 7. This will provide students with a total of 18 days of vacation.

According to the guidelines issued by the Education Department, the schedule for academic activities and holidays was released at the beginning of the academic year, as is customary. In line with this, for the 2025-26 academic year, the Dasara holidays will commence on September 20 and continue until October 7.

The second phase of the academic year will begin on October 8 and continue until April 10, 2026. The Education Department clarified that this schedule was already shared with all schools, and the holidays have now been officially announced in accordance with it.
