Due to the continuous efforts and dedication of MLC Saleem Ahmed, the Karnataka state budget this year has approved the establishment of Haj Houses in Hubballi and Kalaburagi. This decision has brought great happiness among Muslims in Kittur Karnataka and Kalyana Karnataka regions.

Pilgrims (Hajis) from North Karnataka often face great difficulties while traveling to Bengaluru for their departure for Hajj. Traveling a long distance of around 400 to 700 kilometers with family members to reach Bengaluru is a very exhausting and difficult process. The establishment of Haj Houses will certainly prove beneficial not only for the pilgrims but also for the people of North Karnataka in many ways.

Airports in these regions are likely to see development, and during the Hajj season, local businesses in Hubballi and Kalaburagi are expected to grow, creating several employment opportunities.

For the remaining eleven months of the year, the Haj Houses can also be utilized for training, coaching, and residential facilities for Muslim students.

Indeed, the approval of the Haj House is the result of the sincere efforts of Saleem Ahmed, for which Muslims of Kittur Karnataka are especially grateful and thankful. If a capable leader like Saleem Ahmed is given a place in the state cabinet, it could lead to many beneficial initiatives for the community.

The State President of the Muslim United Front, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Madaki, while thanking Saleem Ahmed for this effort, prayed that he soon gets a place in the cabinet so that he can continue serving the community and the people more effectively.
