New Delhi: A three-day special session of Parliament will begin on Thursday, with the government likely to introduce bills related to women’s reservation and the delimitation of constituencies.
The government is expected to present a bill aimed at implementing the legislation passed in 2023, which provides 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies.
The proposed delimitation bill seeks to increase the total number of Lok Sabha members to 850, including representatives from states and Union Territories.
