Belagavi Police Issue Traffic Advisory for Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebrations

In view of the grand Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations to be held in Belagavi on November 1, the City Police Commissioner’s Office has issued a detailed traffic advisory to ensure smooth movement and public safety.

As per the advisory, entry of all heavy vehicles into Belagavi city limits will be prohibited from 11:00 AM until the end of the procession. The Rajyotsava procession will pass through several major roads in the city, and accordingly, diversions and route changes have been implemented.

Vehicles coming from Chikkodi, Sankeshwar, and Kollar will be diverted via Zina Bakul Circle – Baxayat Road – Hindalaga Forest Naka – Gandhi Circle (Aragan Talab) – Shaurya Chowk – Globe Theatre Circle – Khanapur Road.

Those travelling from the Central Bus Stand towards Shaniwar Khoot will be routed through Jijamata Circle – VIL Logistics – Old PB Road. Vehicles heading towards Khanapur should use the Ashok Hill – Kanakadasa Circle – KLE Hospital – Hindalaga – Globe Circle – Khanapur Road route.

Similarly, vehicles from Jijamata Circle and Deshpande Petrol Pump towards Naragundkar Bhave Chowk/Kambal Khoot will move via Ravivar Peth – Pimpal Khata – Patil Galli – Station Road – Gogte Circle – Khanapur Road.

Vehicles entering the city from Khanapur via Congress Road must take a left turn near Milli Mahadev Mandir and proceed via Asad Khan Dargah – Gavaligalli Cross – Globe Theatre Circle – Hindalaga Road – Hanuman Nagar Double Road – Baxayat Road – Jina Bakul Circle to rejoin National Highway-48.

KSRTC buses will operate via Hindalaga Underbridge – National Highway-48 – Cancer Hospital turn – Kanakadasa Circle – Bus Stand.

To accommodate visitors, designated parking zones have been arranged at Sardar Maidan, CPED Ground (Club Road), behind the Women’s Police Station, and within the District and New Court premises.

The Belagavi City Police have appealed to the public to cooperate with the traffic arrangements and use the alternative routes provided for a smooth and safe Rajyotsava celebration.
