Savadatti Development and Infrastructure Enhancements

✅ Savadatti Development Board’s progress was reviewed; minor legal issues were resolved.
✅ Preparations for Bharata Hunnime on Feb 12 are in full swing, with improved crowd management, parking facilities, additional toilets, and LED screen installations.
✅ Foundation stone for Dasoha Bhavan and Mevu Dasoha Bhavan to be laid within a month.
✅ A master plan inspired by the TTD model will be developed for the holy hill’s growth, including residential houses, Dasoha Bhavan, and essential infrastructure.
✅ The public will have access to the master plan online, and suggestions will be welcomed.
✅ Sanitation facilities to be improved on Savadatti Hill, tackling the issue of open defecation.

Major Tourism Projects and Financial Support

💰 100 crore sanctioned from the Central Government for tourism development.
💰 20 crore allocated under the Prasad scheme, with additional grants from the State Government.
💰 Plans in motion for the Gokak Falls Rope Car Project, set to enhance tourism appeal.

💰 Bhimagarh is to be developed as a tourist hub, with an 18 km safari route set to open soon.

Gandhi Bharat Program & Community Initiatives

🔹 Gandhi Bharat programs successfully conducted in  Belagavi on Dec 26 and Jan 21—the Minister expressed gratitude on behalf of the government.
🔹 The program will continue until October 2, with 28 different events planned to promote Mahatma Gandhi’s vision.

On this occasion, Minister H.K. Patil also released an information book on tourism, showcasing the government’s efforts to promote and enhance the region’s tourism landscape.
